The Fifth Avenue Surgery Center is an Article 28, multi-specialty surgery center that has been in operation since 1990. We are centrally located on 86th Street between Fifth and Madison Avenues on the famed “Museum Mile.” We are accredited by the Centers for Medicare Services, the New York State Department of Health and the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAHC).

Gregg Rock, D.P.M. is currently Chief of Podiatric Surgery and The President of the Fifth Avenue Surgery Center Corporation. Dr. Rock is double board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Rock served as chief surgical resident at Medical Arts Center Hospital in Manhattan and has been practicing for over 25 years. Dr. Rock specializes in correcting all foot disorders with emphasis on bunion and hammertoe surgery using state-of-the-art minimally invasive surgical procedures and the latest advancements in sports medicine.
Oliver Zong, D.P.M., is a podiatrist in Manhattan's influential Financial District specializing in traditional and cosmetic foot surgery as well as cryosurgery. Dr. Zong graduated as Valedictorian from New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he earned his degree, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). He went on to complete a 3 year residency in Podiatric Surgery and Medicine at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where he earned the distinction as Resident of the Year. Dr. Zong is the Chief of the Podiatric Residency Program.
Igor Amigud, M.D. is a board certified anesthesiologist who has been in practice for more than 25 years having completed his post graduate training at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Amigud has been on staff at Fifth Avenue Surgery Center for more than 10 years. Dr. Amigud is currently the Vice President of the corporation.
Charles Raab M.S., M.P.H. is the CEO/CFO of the Facility and Treasurer of the Corporation. Mr. Raab received his MPH from New York University and his MS in accounting from Long Island University. He brings 44 years of healthcare financial and administrative experience in hospitals, medical schools and the ambulatory health arena to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the surgery center.
Steven Abramow, D.P.M. graduated with his degree in Podiatric Medicine from the College of Podiatric Medicine, in 1980. He then completed his surgical residency at West Haven Veterans Administration Medical Center, a Yale Medical School Teaching Hospital. Dr. Abramow is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
John Mancuso, D.P.M., graduated with his degree in Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, in 1980. He then completed a residency in podiatric surgery at Northlake Community Hospital from 1980 - 1981. At the same time Dr. Mancuso also completed a rotating residency in the orthopedics department of Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, and of Children's Hospital, Northwestern University. Dr. Mancuso is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics.
Rick J. Delmonte, D.P.M., founding partner of Belvedere Podiatry Group, is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. He was graduated cum laude from Boston University in 1991. He was graduated cum laude from The New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1995, and completed a three-year podiatric surgical residency at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
Paul M. Greenberg, D.P.M. founding partner of Belvedere Podiatry Group, is double board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Mark Landsman, D.P.M. graduated with a doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1987. He then completed a residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Michigan Osteopathic Medical Center from 1987 - 1988. At the same time Dr. Landsman also completed a rotating residency in podiatric surgery from Botsford General Hospital. Dr. Landsman is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics.
Michael Loshigian, D.P.M. earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, with honors, from the State University of New York. He completed the Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine program with high honors in 1993 from the Wm. M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. Returning to New York, he completed his residency in Podiatric medicine and surgery at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, an academic affiliate of Weil Medical College of Cornell University. Dr. Loshigian is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Richard Goldstein, D.P.M. graduated from NY College of Podiatric Medicine, and was a resident in NY College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Goldstein is board certified in podiatry and podiatric surgery.
Robert Maccabee, D.P.M. is a double board-certified Foot and Ankle Surgeon. As a graduate of the University at Albany in premedical studies, with a major in Biology and Chemistry, he went on to finish has medical training at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. After receiving his medical degree he completed a post-graduate residency program in medicine and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. He served his surgical residency at The Hospital for Joint Disease, New York University Downtown Hospital, and Saint Barnabus Hospital in New York.
Joseph J. Terrasi, M.D. has been facility Medical Director and Co-Director of Anesthesiology at the Fifth Avenue Surgery Center for 12 years. He received his medical degree from the Miller School of Medicine of the University of Miami, Florida. He completed his residency and fellowship post-graduate training at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York and at the Los Angeles County-University of Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles. He participates in anesthesiology and is board-certified in both Anesthesiology and Healthcare Quality Management.
Kathleen Downes, R.N. is the Operations Director at the Center and has been associated with the facility for 17 years and has over 35 years experience in both hospital and ambulatory surgery. Ms. Downes is a licensed Register Nurse who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration. She is an active member of AORN, NYONE, APIC and AONE.
